Mission 6 - Magnets on Mars
Before you come to class, we would like you to complete the Edpuzzle activity at home about the Earth's magnetism. Then, once we have finished the mission, there will be a Google Form to see what you remember.
Mars' magnetic field doesn't work in the way way as the Earth's. However, if you are able to return to planet Earth, you might need a compass to find out where you have landed as you aren't sure if your navigation and communication devices will still be working.
The question is, how do you make a compass?

Your mission today will be to make a functional magnet by following the instructions that you have chosen and by using the resources you have brought. As you complete the task, take pictures and short videos, as you will need them for later!
